1) Studied Abroad in England
2) Slaved away in a deli chicken shop all summer
3) Survived yet another semester of college (+1 broken tail bone)
4) Turned 21 (the last 'step', beside getting cheaper car rental insurance at 25)
5) Perhaps gained some maturity about my person
Now, I don't know about all you anonymous readers, but I think those are a hellalot things to accomplish. I mean, exactly one year ago, I was wigging out about spending almost half a year in England! Now, my brain is full of the things I've seen, and my bank account is empty and my debt still pretty steep. Not only that, but my perspective on life is different--and I can't really pinpoint it--and I'm definitely not all about chuckling and being a perfectionist as in high school. I've been told by my family and a few friends that I *have* changed, my body language even different--all for the good, they stated....but alas, that is life and you grow. You mature. So do your friends who move on, living, loving, breathing, running, dying. Well, not dying (but didn't that make the sentence a little more profound?). Anyway, nothing will change the fact that I have yet to print out all my Europe pictures... Soon all 400 that I want to print will be overflowing the CVS of G-ville, muahahaha.
I barely remember this summer. It was blur of chicken guts and deli meat. No wonder I lost a few pounds when I worked there. Hah. (And now happily gained back from Christmas cookies!! Wooo!!) And then it was fall semester: geology labs, coffee table mornings, rugby Saturdays, staring at the lint on my carpet, living like an old person and going to bed by 12am almost every night. What a life!! Although I've resigned myself from rugby, it will be very much the same this coming semester. Oh boy. Although, I am teaching a lab this time around and will be able to legally drink my sorrows away with a tall, cold pint at night. Maybe I'll even Irish up my coffee in the morn' when it'll be as cold as your grandmother's teat outside. Sounds like a plan.
Well, I definitely had more so say, but you know, I am getting a little bored of reading even this. I wish I had time to do many things. Among them: playing music and drawing. My artist has pulled back until a later date which is a little sad. But maybe this holiday break will yield something productive? Perhaps.

Merci!
